Providing quality community-based local care, EPIC’s Counseling Center offers professional substance use disorders and mental health services that help individuals and families develop resources and solutions to make positive changes in their lives. The Center serves all age groups, from toddlers to adolescents, adults and the elderly.
Services provided include:
- Crisis intervention and referral
- Substance use disorders evaluations and counseling (individual and group)
- Mental health evaluations and counseling (individual)
- Counseling for children and adolescents
- Marital, couple and family therapy
- Treatment for co-occurring disorders (substance use disorders and mental health disorders)
- Specialized judicial services, including Drug Court, Anti-Drug Initiative Level I and Level II and Anger Management Courses
Most counseling services are offered on a sliding fee basis. It’s easy to make an appointment.

St. Johns County Mental Health Department (SJCMHD) provides comprehensive behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and adults by a broad range of mental health professional disciplines. Through effective community collaboration, SJCMHD makes available a continuum of care for individuals experiencing acute episodes of psychiatric and substance abuse problems, and to the severely and persistently mentally ill.
National Mental Health Information Center
The Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) is the Federal agency within the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) that leads national efforts to improve prevention and mental health treatment services for all Americans. CMHS pursues its mission by helping states improve and increase the quality and range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services for people with mental health problems, their families, and communities.
